A diagnosis of asthma, or viral triggered wheeze can feel overwhelming. Health professionals often don't have time to provide detailed information and answer questions. I take the time to answer all questions and address any concerns to make sure you leave the appointment feeling empowered to confidently manage asthma in the future.

I spend 1 hour with you to complete an in depth assessment, discussing your child's history, asthma symptoms, triggers, how to manage flare ups at home and asthma first aid.

I teach you all about what is happening inside the lungs when asthma and viral triggered wheeze occur, why this is happening and how different medications actually work to help. I check your spacer technique and provide advice about spacer and medication use in young children.

I provide a clear, easy to follow, personalised and detailed asthma action plan which tells you when to administer reliever medication, how much to use, when to see a doctor, when it’s safe to manage at home and when you should be going to hospital. I also provide a curated list of resources and a free spacer (and mask if required).

Appointments are available 7 days a week either via zoom, face to face in clinic or home visit. Some evening appointments are also available. Following our appointment you receive unlimited follow up phone calls and emails for up to 2 months or longer if required.
